INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut out squares/rectangles for the main part of the house,
triangles for the roof, and small squares for windows.
2. Then, give the children a large sheet of paper and let them start
gluing on the pieces to create their house.
3. Encourage them to make a base, roof, and windows!
Let their imaginations go! Talk through which shapes can represent
different parts of their homes. For older children, ask what
to include to make sure it’s stable and liveable! Or you can ask
them to make their own home!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Get large paper out and put drops of paint all over (different colors).
2.Get all the toy trucks and drive them through the paint!
3. Once finished, wash trucks off in water bin, just like a car wash!
Fill large bin with water and put aside to wash trucks off after
as another activity!

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut out pieces of colored construction paper and put them all
over the floor.
2. Call out a color and have the children pound it with the
hammer!
This is a great activity for all ages! Feel free to change it up
based on what your child is learning. You can do alphabet,
shapes, letters, numbers, math equations, words, anything!

Sandboxes are perfect for building and teaching the

about the different things you can and cannot do with
wet & dry sand.

1. Rip a large sheet of tin foil and use the tape to make sure it stays
down to the table.
2. Pour different colored drops of paint all over the tin foil.
3. Let children use their fingers to spread around the paint and
start mixing colors to create new colors!
Feel free to teach the children about mixing colors with this activity!
Use fingers to add a fun sensory feel to it. Make sure they
notice the sound the foil makes too!

1. Put a few drops of different colored paint on paper.
2. Place paper with paint into zip-lock bag and seal.
3. Let children use their fingers to spread the paint around
through the bag.
4. Talk about all the different colors!
Optional: remove paper from bag to let the painting dry.

1. Fill cup with some baking soda, then a few drops of food
coloring, more baking soda, another color of food coloring, and

3. Pour littles bits of vinegar into the cup of baking soda and
watch the colors start fizzing!

The outing this week is another scavenger hunt!
Get a piece of paper and let the children make patches of
a few different colors with crayons. Then, head outside

problem! Do the scavenger hunt indoors. Maybe even at
a grocery store, finding food in specific categories!

1. Take a cup and trace it. Cut out 5 circles for the caterpillar.
2. Use glue to assemble the caterpillar by overlapping ¼ of the circles.

they want to be when they grow up. Feel free to think of other
questions you’d like to ask! Write them on the caterpillar’s body.
4. To finish, glue a picture of their face and use tape to attach
the caterpillar’s antennae.

This activity is best done freezing in layers*
1. Fill the large bowl ⅓ of the way and add some of the items.
Freeze.
2. Once frozen, add more water to fill the bowl ⅔ of the way.
Add more items, then freeze again.
3. Once that is frozen, fill the bowl all the way and add the rest
of the items. Freeze.
4. Once it is completely frozen, fill a squirt bottle with hot water
and set it out with salt, spoons, forks, and whatever else you
might think will help you chip away and save the animals!

bubble wand as shown.
2. Use a separate pipe cleaner for the handle of bubble want and

3. Let children string beads onto the pipe cleaner that is acting as
a handle and once they are finished, make a ball at the end so the
beads won’t fall off!
4. Dip into bubble solution and make some bubbles!

2. Glue those 6 popsicle sticks together by hot gluing 3 horizontally
at the back as shown.
3. Cut a triangle out of construction paper for the sail of the raft
and puncture a hole on the 2 corners of short end.
4. Feed straw through holes as shown and hot glue the end onto
the raft to complete.
5. Bring the raft to the sink and see if it floats!

2. Drop a few cars into the bin of water and start a CAR WASH!
3. You can have some scrubbers, cloths or anything else you can

1. Cut out 3 large circles from the red, yellow, and green
construction paper.
2. On red, write STOP. On yellow, write SLOW, & on green,
write GO.
3. Glue a popsicle stick to each circle as a handle.
Play the traffic light game!
Game: teach the children what each sign means and when
you hold that sign up, that’s what they have to do!
