CRAFTS
HOT AIR BALLOON

- DECORATING SUPPLIES (STICKERS, MARKERS, PAINT, ETC.)
INSTRUCTIONS
1. In the photo below, a mini planting pot was used for the basket
of the hot air balloon, but we suggest using a Styrofoam cup.
2. Let the children decorate the cup as they want with all the
supplies you have on hand.
3. Blow up balloon to a medium size.
4. Tape one end of the popsicle sticks to the Styrofoam cup and
the other end to balloon as shown in picture.
5. Get the children to use their hot air balloons as a form of
transportation for their toys!

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Get the children to color/decorate 6 popsicle sticks.
2. Glue those 6 popsicle sticks together by hot gluing 3 horizontally
at the back as shown.
3. Cut a triangle out of construction paper for the sail of the raft
and puncture a hole on the 2 corners of short end.
4. Feed straw through holes as shown and hot glue the end onto
the raft to complete.
5. Bring the raft to the sink and see if it floats!

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Fill up the bin with water & soap (make sure to have extr
towels around)
2. Drop a few cars into the bin of water and start a CAR WASH!
3. You can have some scrubbers, cloths or anything else you can
think of to help the children clean their toy cars!

TRAFFIC LIGHT GAME

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut out 3 large circles from the red, yellow, and green
construction paper.
2. On red, write STOP. On yellow, write SLOW, & on green,
write GO.
3. Glue a popsicle stick to each circle as a handle.
Play the traffic light game!
Game: teach the children what each sign means and when
you hold that sign up, that’s what they have to do!
