HANDPRINT FISHES
SUPPLIES
- CONSTRUCTION PAPER
- CRAYONS
- SCISSORS
- GLUE
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Trace child’s hands on 4 different coloured papers (1 being blue
and 1 red).
2. Then, cut them out and glue them onto the 5th paper as shown
in picture.
3. Draw the fish faces and write the saying from the book: ‘One
fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish’
This craft is great for children of all ages (even infants) because
you can do most of the work using just their little handprints –
for older children, they can trace their own hands!

CANVAS QUOTE

- PERMANENT MARKER
INSTRUCTIONS
A small canvas can be purchased at the dollar store, but if that is
not an option, you can also use a white sheet of paper (the sturdier,
the better)
1. Let the children paint the canvas! Set out to dry.
2. While paint is drying, look through your favorite Dr. Seuss book
to find your favorite quote! Once paint is dry, use the permanent
marker to write the quote on the painted canvas!
