CRAFTS

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cut out the middle of a paper plate and let children paint it black.
2. While the paint is drying, cut out a few circles from white paper
and let the children color the circles to create ‘planets’.
3. Glue the planet circles onto the black paper plate ring & stick
on some star stickers!

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Go pick up some foam balls at the dollar store of all different
sized to represent different planets.
1. Look at some pictures of all the planets and get the children to
paint their foam ball planets as shown in the photos!

MOON ROCK HUNT

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rip off a dozen pieces of tin foil and roll each one into a ball
to create ‘moon rocks’
2. Hide the mood rocks all around the house and get the
children to go and find them!
3. Give them a little bag to collect all the moon rocks with.

MOON SAND

- ½ CUP BABY OIL
- 4 CUPS FLOUR

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Mix flour and baby oil together (let the children help!).
2. Place sand in bin and add in your space toys (we used glow
in the dark stars!).
3. Pretend that you are on the moon!

1. Fill a bin with black beans.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Slide the fruit down skewer starting with blueberry, grape,
blueberry, etc. (leaving some room at the bottom of skewer).
2. Top off your skewer with a strawberry.
3. Cut a few strings of ribbon and tape onto the bottom of
skewer to add more of a ‘rocket’ effect.
4. Enjoy!
